Energy at Work’s Glamour event of the Year! “Our Year End party for all Temporary Employees” Dec 2009
All dressed in white, with masks to die for, Energy at Work Temporary Employees poured into Primi Piatti at Design Quarter in Fourways for an amazing evening!
Tables decorated with style and balloons in the traditional Energy colours – black, silver and orange covered the entrance up the stairs and surroundings.
Everyone enjoyed really amazing welcome drinks while waiting for their colleagues to arrive. The buzz was overwhelming as everyone arrived!
After starters were done, it was time for the speeches – short and sweet. Thanks were given to all Energy temp staff for their dedication and commitment during 2009. We can however not forget the thanks that went to Christie Swanepoel, Director of Energy at Work, who made this all possible and was thanked with a huge bunch of flowers by Energy’s temp department.
After dinner was served, the heavens opened up and it was time to hand out the prizes.
Talking as loud as we could, the prizes were allocated as follows:
Long Service Award went to Portia Johnie.
Most Dedicated Employee went to Tebogo Mokazi or Sam as he is known to us.
Best New Comer went to Refiloe Mabogoane.
Top Performer eventually went to Bathabile Khoza, who well deserved her prize!
Best dressed went to Mbali Mabote and Thavaseelen Chinsamy.
After the prizes were handed out – a round of shooters was served and then it was time to get the party started! With the music going up a few decibels, everyone rushed off to get a spot on the dance floor. Entertainment was full, as everyone had their own moves and wanting to out do the rest. Entertainment was high on the agenda with laughs and roars of encouragement. One by one everyone started retiring till the last man standing took off his hat and bowed out gracefully after an amazing and eventful evening with everyone looking forward to what Energy at Work has planned for next year!
