Golf Day - Energy at Work sponsors hole at Charity Golf Day

Our reputable client, One-Call Insurance Brokers, host many Charity events and this one in particular was in aid of a children’s home where hundreds of children would benefit.
Held at Benoni Country Club, on a very nippy morning, The Energy Team, were out in full force setting up at hole fourteen. We had organized a feast for anyone with a sweet tooth from Petite Four’s, Cupcakes, Milk tartlets, Koeksisters and lots more. Nothing better on a cold winter’s day than to accompany such a feast with a glass of Sherry…or two!!!
Our setting was bright and full of orange in true ‘Energy’ style and a friendly and energetic team was there to meet the golfers.
Some were taking the game very seriously staying away from the alcoholic beverages, but the rest were out to enjoy the day and were in high spirits.
Energy at Work spoilt our clients and potential clients with lots of little gifts for the day and true networking took place.
After a long day and once the sun had set, we walked off the golf course frozen, to be welcomed by a warm reception of food drinks and a very humerous MC, Graham Joffe. Sporting jokes of all kinds and even in Afrikaans, needless to say the entire audiences were in hysterics. ‘Joffe’ proceeded to do the draw for the Scooter of the tickets that they had been selling for the entire day. Chris Vermeulen from UPS was announced as the lucky winner and he immediately opted to have the scooter auctioned for charity purposes. The ‘Top Dogs’ of One-Call finally layed the last bid well over R25 000 which all went to the charity cause.
Energy at Work were proud to be part of such a day and believe that all business is done through true relationships. More importantly knowing that children would eat and sleep better from this event, truly pleases our hearts!
